About Leslie
Leslie spent over 34 years at a leading global law firm litigating cases, counseling clients, conducting investigations, and negotiating settlements. She has deep knowledge and experience practicing in federal and state courts through the appellate level, in arbitration, and in agency proceedings.
Leslie specialized in complex class and PAGA actions involving thousands of workers and multi-million-dollar stakes. She also regularly navigated highly sensitive individual matters alleging assault, hostile work environment, discrimination, disability accommodation, and whistleblower complaints.
Leslie handled thousands of employment cases in a broad range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, production, sales, grocery, hospitality, information technology, media and entertainment, financial services, legal, education, telecommunications, energy and utilities, healthcare, senior living, transportation, and logistics.
Before law school, Leslie worked at various for-profit companies and non-profit organizations. Leslie’s jobs ranged from assisting with charitable giving to community organizations; event planning; restaurant wait staff and food prep; and others. Leslie also lived in London for two years working as a legal assistant for a global firm and attending graduate school. These experiences inform and support Leslie’s balanced, pragmatic, and empathetic view of the challenges and concerns both employers and employees face in the workplace.
Leslie now exclusively serves as a neutral mediator. She conducts private mediations and regularly volunteers as a Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Leslie brings to the mediation process genuine understanding, compassion, strategic and analytical acumen, practicality, and deal-making insight.
